On January 21, 2008, Myofascial Therapy moved into our new facility on Hamilton Ave., the building that Joe and Sandy have been able to purchase. What does it allow all of us? CHOICE!
A very plain building has transformed to become a home for the staff to allow the healing for each of us. And for growing the healing energy in the community of Campbell and surrounding areas.
"To each of the clients who has come to this location: we thank you for your support, and most of all hope that we have served you well in your journey to well-being."May we continue to work together with you and your friends to create health and wellness.

Recently, a client shared with me, that in her deposition and mediation around a motor vehicle accident, there was a question about the validity of myofascial therapy as a scientific tool in therapy. It reminded me of a comment my teacher said 26 years ago when I first was learning the skill. He said, “If you want to wait 50 years until this is proven, you can. Or you can begin now to help people.”
I chose to begin. Why have I continued to use this along with all of the traditional medicine approaches? RESULTS!! When I took my first class, I was completely lost. The traditional training for physical therapy is left brain science based. My mind was questioning everything I heard and saw. And the idea of FEELING anything was completely new to a Midwesterner!!
I saw things at that class that I knew were real. I decided to retake the class in l985 in San Francisco and combine it with a family vacation to run in the Bay to Breakers. That was when I really got it and knew it was so valuable for my clients. We were living in Denver then, and just a little over a year later moved to California.
The clinic I worked with was in Campbell. I told them I needed an hour instead of one-half hour for treatment, and they allowed it. It became so much fun to share this technique with clients and other staff!! AND people got better with the combination of this and traditional medicine.
Almost the only thing that is scientifically proven about Myofascial Therapy is that traumatized connective tissue has a force of 2000 pounds per square inch. That is like a pick-up truck sitting on your vessels, muscles, organs and lymphatics. With myofascial release, that restriction elongates and becomes more elastic. The weight of the truck is gone! You will obviously feel the difference.
Why are we here doing Myofascial Therapy? To help more people to be well. To educate all of you in how to continue the process. And to combine this technique with EVERYTHING ELSE we need to learn to help even more.
